SEBASTIAN BACH Has 21 Songs Written And Demoed For Next Solo Album – July 4, 2010 – Blabbermouth.net

Former SKID ROW singer Sebastian Bach is currently working on material for a new solo album which he says will be released through an as-yet-undisclosed “major label.”

Bach’s current solo band includes guitarists Nick Sterling and Johnny Chromatic, drummer Bobby Jarzombek and bassist Rob DeLuca.

Sebastian last year collaborated with HATEBREED frontman Jamey Jasta on several tracks for Bach’s new solo album, with Nick and Charlie Bellmore of the Connecticut band PHANTOMS assisting during the pre-production process. The singer has also written material with John 5 (ROB ZOMBIE, MARILYN MANSON).

Commented Sebastian: “Nick is very prolific.

“This will be the most demos by far I have recorded for any record I have ever done, counting all the songs I have with Nick, John 5, Charlie Bellmore, Jeffrey Steele, Vicky McGehee, and Jamey Jasta.

Nick’s melodies are very challenging and he is making me step up my game in the studio. Teaching me stuff about recording, too!

“He is coming here soon and we are gonna write a song with Aaron Lewis of STAIND!

“Met Aaron at John Rich’s house and hung with him Friday in [Atlantic City]!

“Can’t wait to crush your iPod with new jams!!”

He added, “As I said a couple of days ago, I have 21 demos for new rock CD. 18 rockers, three ballads.

“You can only fit 13 songs max on a CD. I gotta pick the best songs out of these.

“Believe me, this album will rock hard like every album I have ever done. But I dig singing ballads, too. Gotta have dynamics on the CD.

“By the way, did I mention I have EIGHTEEN rockers and THREE ballads?

“Chillax, people, trust me! It’s only been 21 years we’ve been rocking together, fer fux sakes, hahaha!”

Bach supported GUNS N’ ROSES on their recently completed South American and Canadian tours.

Bach is best known for selling 20 million albums as the former lead singer of SKID ROW. He has gone on to star on Broadway and television, including five seasons on CW’s “Gilmore Girls”, as well as hit shows on VH1, MTV and CMT. Bach’s most recent studio project was “Angel Down”, his first solo album since 1999. The record features 14 songs with a guest appearance by GUNS N’ ROSES front man Axl Rose on three cuts, including a blistering version of AEROSMITH’s “Back In The Saddle”.
